Background
As a fiction writer, Voxmata started as a passion project. A way to bring my stories to life in unexpected ways. The idea was simple: can we turn any work of written fiction into cinematic audio, where every character has a unique voice, every mention of sound comes alive with foley, and every emotional beat is accentuated by music and ambient soundscapes.
The Process
In this day and age, generative AI makes everything look magical, and subsequently nothing feels magical anymore. Voxmata isn’t a text-to-audio platform. It is a suite of story-centric tools that gives authors and publishers full creative control over their piece. We use generative AI combined with traditional NLP to identify characters and story beats. We then use a suite of models to bring the story to life in minutes.
